Join Reka on Supporting the Kids of Virgie Robinson Elementary
The 5th Annual clothing drive begins on Monday, the collecting of new clothes will end on Wednesday! The gifting of the clothes happens on Friday at the Virgie Robinson Elementary School in Pasco. That elementary school is named after my Grandmother, Virgie. I’m just trying to do my part. Will you help me?
It all started when I (Reka) noticed a young lady at the school who was in need of new clothes. After hearing why and that she was bullied because of it, I went and bought her a new outfit and some hair bows. The teacher reached out to me and told that the little girl was SO HAPPY with her clothes but especially her hair bows!! Every little girl… every child deserves the best start as possible for their life and sometimes their families need a little help in doing that. I’m here to help but I know I wouldn’t be able to do it with out help. My mission every year is to gift at least 1 new outfit and 1 new pair of shoes to the kids who need it (deserve it) the most at Robinson Elementary, a last name I carry. The list comes from the principal and this year I have 20 kids, will you help me gift them new outfits? New shoes?
I will be at Target (Kennewick);
Monday 11 – 2p and 5-7p
Tuesday 1 -4
I will have the list on me for easy shopping!
